You

See, for so long I was so afraid of what people would think of me; I was so in my head about “Am I making an impact?” “Am I perfect enough?” “Am I making a good impression?” “Am I dressed well?” “Am I this, am I that, am I this?” EXHAUSTING. I was literally so in my head about making sure that everybody else could accept me, making sure that everyone else could say “yes” and check me off the ‘approved’ list; that I forgot who I was in the process. I was so busy living up to everyone’s expectations, stepping into what their version of “perfect” looked like, that I had forgotten what my perfect wholeness already was.

What we all need to do is stop shying away from our true selves and start showing it, start BEING it…unapologetically. Why? Because you are born with a specific gift that I can’t have and I am born with a specific gift that you can’t have. That’s what makes us all unique.

If you think about it, there are more than 7.4 BILLION people on this planet that are different in such a unique way; why is that? Yet we are trying so hard to be everybody else: if I could look like this person, if I could sound like this person, if I could have this person’s career…but what about you? What about the path that’s meant for you? What about the YOUness that YOU can only be, that I can’t even touch? What about that?

If we all stepped into our Divine Uniqueness, what would that mean for this Earth? What would that mean for this planet? I challenge you to step into your YOUness, to live BIG from a space that’s so authentically YOU that I could never touch. To be so unapologetically you that everyone gets uncomfortable. Bottom line is, when people see truth, it shines a light on what is false within their own lives. So then they want to go out and tell you what you’re doing wrong, or how you need to change or “oh, this makes me uncomfortable, you can’t do that; that’s not right!” But, it’s your truth. And if you’re living your truth, then there’s NOTHING, NOTHING that can stop the perfectness of YOU.

Presence

Who we think we are, is in the way of who we really are.

You see, we’ve got this idea, that we’ve got to have a certain thing, look a certain way or present ourselves like x, y and z, to be accepted, to show up, to have presence; that presence can be bought. But what is actually true is presence can’t be bought. Presence isn’t in our job title, it’s not in the way we look, it’s not in the way we dress, it’s no tin the community we surround ourselves with, the car we drive, or the house we live in…no, presence, true presence, is that undeniable thing, that unshakable something that shows up way before you walk into a room and is still there way after you leave. It’s that thing that was here way before we were born and will be here way after we leave.

Presence is not what shows up in human form, no, presence is what shows up energetically before human form gets there. Presence is the memory that lasts in somebody after our human form passes this Earth. Think about that: if we believe presence is our car, our clothes, our looks, our body, our this, our that, then it’s changeable; it’s always out of our control, is always out of our hands, and is forever based on the circumstances of everyone else.

“Do you like me yet?” “Am I valuable?” “Am I worthy?”

We are inundated with magazine ads, with TV commercials telling us “you’re not enough!” But, what about us can we actually control, can we actually step into, can we actually embody? It’s that thing that we were born with.

We’ve all met that person, we all FELT their energy. They may not have been the best looking person in the room, they may not have been wearing the craziest clothes, they may not have pulled up in a Maserati, but guess what? YOU FELT THEM. And they lasted with you, they stayed with you. Why? What is that? That, to me, is what we’re ALL capable of stepping into; but who we THINK we are is in the way of who we actually are. “Am I perfect?” is in the way of WHOLE, PERFECT and COMPLETE.

practice-Gods-presence.jpg
We’re looking out here for the answers, we’re looking to everyone else, to everything else, to more to more to more to more to make us feel better…but guess what? THE ANSWER IS HERE. We already have all we need to be whole, perfect and complete because WE ARE THAT. We are a divine piece of the whole that is everything, that is infinite, that is abundant, that is beauty, that is magic, we are a piece of that whole. So how can we be anything less than perfect, whole and complete? How? It’s impossible.

Purpose

Nature never makes a repeat, it only makes a masterpiece. I know with our technology and our manufactured clothes we tend to forget that we too are also nature. It’s crazy but it’s true. Nature is always in this process of perfectly unfolding and revealing its purpose. So we are always in this process of perfectly unfolding and revealing our purpose. So wherever you think you are, you are just beginning . Wherever you think you’ll be, you’re thinking too small.

You see, God got you right the first time. There are 8 billion people on this planet all with distinct fingerprints. And just like our physical fingerprints we all have soul fingerprints as well. So we all have a different, distinct reason for being. And nature never compares itself to another because there is no reason to. A tree doesn’t look at a bird and say ” Man, I wish I could fly.”. A fox doesn’t  look at a fish and say , ” Gosh, Some shiny scales would be pretty on me.” No! Foxes aren’t meant to have shiny scales, they are meant to have fur because they live in a certain environment and have a distinct purpose to fill.

Stop comparing yourself to other people, stop looking at other people and saying ,”Man,  I wish I had that.””If I had that I’d be good enough.” Come from a place of: I was born a one of a kind masterpiece to behold, instead of “I’m not good enough”. Shift your focus to “There’s something wrong with me and I need to fix it” to “There is something right with me and I get to share it.”

This is important. Stop holding who you are. Stop being selfish with your gifts. The world needs it The world needs  what you were born to provide, so provide it. Let your gifts out. Let it shine! Let it be the masterpiece of life’s canvas. Cause that’s  what we’re here for. 🙂
